Master's degree: Technical management and economics of farming equipment (Master Professionnel MaTÉA - "Management Technique et Économique des Agroéquipements")

Introduction

The course takes place over four semesters of 20 weeks each (including internships).

A week of courses (not including internships) includes an average of 20 hours of mandatory classes (practical work, lectures, projects, case studies, etc.), plus optional classes.

Progress is evaluated once per semester. The student passes into the next semester if they get an average of more than 10/20.

The student may study part of the course abroad if they so wish.

In the case of continuing education or training the course can be adapted to individual needs.

    Programme

    Semester 1 (400 hours, 20 weeks, 30 ECTS)

    • Unit 1: Applied science, scientific and computing methods (8 ECTS)
    • Unit 2: Equipment science and technology (I) (8 ECTS)
    • Unit 3: Agricultural production (7 ECTS)
    • Unit 4: Human sciences, languages, management (7 ECTS)


    Semester 2
    (200 hours in class over 10 weeks, minimum 10 week internship, 30 ECTS)

    • Unit 5: Equipment science and technology (II) (8 ECTS)
    • Unit 6: Multi-disciplinary approaches, project methodology, communication (8 ECTS)
    • Unit 7: Internship in a company or research organisation (10-14 ECTS)


    Semester 3
    (400 hours, 20 weeks, 30 ECTS)

    • Unit 8: Information and communication technologies (4 ECTS)
    • Unit 9: Materials science and technology (4 ECTS)
      • design and production of equipment
      • experience in a professional context
      • professional modules

    • Unit 10:  Farming equipment in their technical-economic context (14 ECTS)
    • Unit 11: Business science, knowledge of the farming equipment sector, communication (8 ECTS)

    Semester 4 (end of studies thesis, 20 weeks minimum, 30 ECTS)
